These are current and Past Bags which I feel are worthy of Showcasing, Please note not all in here are for sale , anything with a £0 has already been sold.
A bag which I'm very proud of. A larger version of the tree of life satchel the dimensions are 30cm by 25cm Made from Italian purple and brown badalassi leather with English full grain leather accents,. It's all about the details with this one, we have the main tree of life mandala with mountain and forest view behind it above this on the flap is an old enamel brooch, I have worked this into the design where it can be kept as is or taken off and replaced with another badge or brooch if desired,, I have counter sunk this into the flap for some protection. The brooch is the only part which does not come with my repair gurantee due to the nature of enamel, think of it as a bag freebee :) On the back is a cutout tree scene using english veg tan leather. I have matched all the thread in the same country side colours of alternating blues and greens throughout with some purple for good measure. Inside there is the main pocket with reenforced guessed and an internal Pocket Each side in internally etched with forest and mountain scenes. All the hardware is steel forged horse saddle buckles including the flap straps. (lol flap straps) Colour wise I wanted the accents to stand out so all leathers are earth toned which I think compliments the deep purple well. Finally a strap which can be as long or as short as you like. This bag like all my others will be looked after throughout its life by me regardless of how long you have owned it, any repairs or even a through wax/ condition will be done for free, you just pay for postage. This bagis a work of art so needs to be treated with care and respect. It will last a lifetime if cared for. 305mm by 260mm This can be paid for in 3 installments if needed, I understand and respect that it's a lot of money to spend especially near Christmas.
Experimental stained glass satchel After a week thinking how to make this work, be useful, look amazing and last a bloody long time I think I have achieved what I wanted I fancied trying to make a mandala satchel with a more 3d looking mandala, I used English aa crack full grained destressed pull up leather which is softer than my usual Italian, this allows the mandala to change and settle as it gets used, each part of the mandala is glued and sewn in to ensure it keeps it's shape. This does means it's a little more delicate than my other mandalas how'ver with care and 3 monthly conditioning using leather conditioner it will last as long as you do. For the back mandala I wanted to go bigger than usual, which although looks amazing but means I couldn't put in an internal pocket The size is 260mm by 200mm the strap is adjustable long to quite short I used a reconditioned horse saddle buckle. There's a etched quote on the back panel which will only be seen my the new buyer :) I would try to steer clear of getting it soaked, but it's certainly a very usable bag which will never be seen again!
All hand cut and hand stitched, and using the laser cutter for the mandalas As usual I use Italian Badalassi leather for the main bag, with an English leather purple strap and reclaimed horse saddle buckle. The dark brown and green in my opinion are a match made in heaven. Please. Contact me for size and specs
I have really taken my time with this, every aspect has been designed using the central tree of life design on the front as its inspiration Italian Badalassi waxed leather with English leather used in the 3d layers. Adjustable strap and lots of tree themed details inside and out. Larger than I usually make. I have not used any other outsourced parts aside the buckles. The main buckle is a from a vintage horse saddle which I reconditioned. The size is 280 cm 230cm
Evening, This weekends entertainment now completed, Dark tree of life side bag, 300mm by 230mm so a really good size that can fit a lot. I wanted to use all of my different purple leathers, we have Italian walpier front and back, English full grain sides and strap, and Italian badalassi flap. I decided not to go overboard on the etching, so this only has 4. the tree of life on the front, tree on the back, a mountain scene on the pocked and finally a geometric mountain scene on the flap. Reconditioned horse saddle buckle and a twist lock on the front Really great bag, repair guranteed for the life of the bag
Now finished, amazing tree of life bag is distressed blue and green English full grain leather. Mini mandala on the back and lots of etching inside. 1940s horse saddle buckle with fully adjustable strap Side is 230mm by 260 mm Internal pocket This is a truly fantastic bag which will blow your friends away :)
What can I say, I'm in awe of this bag😅 I feel it shows all the creative flair I have been working on over the last year at its best. I have spent more time on really getting the flap and sides to compliment the overall design, ensuring they get just as much creative decision making as the rest of the bag, The stitching is also getting extra consideration ensuring it is either enhancing something on the bag or Keeping to the background. It's the little things what count. We have 2 mandalas, internal etching, and a new covering in truly amazing fabric to hide the thread internally on the front mandala. Includes a good sized pocket and a 1930s horse saddle buckle which I reconditioned. Fully adjustable strap. It's on the large side at 310mm by 260mm Using italian badalassi purple veg tan leather for the main panels and English full grained pull up leather for the sides, this is truly a special bag which I am very proud of using the best leather in the word.
Chocolate brown Italian leather, with purple accents and teal Stitching, I think this may be a firm favourate. I get asked why I use a strap and flap which covers the art work, well even though leather is very durable, it's not invincible, and bags by their very nature are prone to getting bashed, so the flap and strap offer some protection, I would love to have it without but I have to ensure the intricate art is protected at least some what, Bags which only have only one laser cut panel have less of the protection as they are more durable.
Probably the best bag I have made to date, improvement are constantly happening so very proud of this. I have had a play with the rigidity of the side panels by adding reinforcement on the inside, so the bag will maintain its shape and feel more secure. The mandala has a lot of movement which makes this really special bag. I went for an ocean theme again, all in Italian badalassi leather. The height is 28cm so quite large for a side bag. Due to the intricate nature of this mandala, I have used additional nylon thread to add some protection, it's still a very robust bag howveer the front will need to treated with care.
Good evening I have a showcase this weekend with The Radiant Fox So I needed a bag as the main showcase. I'm really proud to have made this : Large wing bag utilising as much design ethos as I dared. Bigger that what i usually make, Italian badalassi and A & A Crack & Sons Ltd country cow purple heavy leather With one of my favourate mandala on the front, complimented with a another mandala in the back Reclaimed horse saddle buckle and a hand made strap Inside there is significant etching and also a secret etching only the new owner will ever see. This is a tank of a bag reenforced sides and 2 mandalas means it's got a little big of weight to it, how'ver negated by the thicker strap. Probably the best bag I have ever made. Thank you for looking.
Here's a strange one for you Experimental circular wing bag I wanted try to make a bag which was circular without a zip A lot harder than I thought flap wise It's certainly an interesting bag, No template was used I wanted to just see where starting with a circle would take me Italian Badalassi leather and 215mm by a gusset of 60mm A really good size and very robust. I certainly over engineered this one. As its experimental and was trying ideas out I will price this one accordingly at £
This week's creation, Using the last of my smooth purple Walpier Italian leather I wanted to make something pretty special, I wanted a really different mandala with clean lines which would bring the leather to life. This mandala took a long time to find, and was really complex to make, how ever was worth the effort. Another tree of life cutout on the back and lots on etching on the inside including a lil poem hidden internally. The flap and sides are again Italian leather but Badalassi waxed. English leather strap and reconditioned antique horse saddle buckle. PLEASE EMAIL FOR SIZE AND Spec.
Hey there! Unexpected weekend bag drop Having no plans this weekend meant I could spend some quality time with this amazing Italian tempesti light purple leather It looks more pink in the photos but I assure you it's purple :) Complimented with English thick @aacrack full graindeep purple leather for the sides and embellishments I wanted to make a bag which was pretty much all one colour but in different shades. I spent some time thinking about what 3d mandala would look right and settled on the mountain scene. It came out fantastic especially against the purple. Inside is a large pocket with an etching of a mountain and valley scene. I have started to use different twist locks which are very night quality Stainless steel stirrup buckle and adjustable strap Hand cut and hand stitched the only machine I use is a las3r cutter for the etching and mandala. All bag styles are made without a template so each one totslly unique Size is 24cm by 21cm by 6cm., I am also happy to take 4 payments or keep on hold if needed. This is a truly special bag which will certainly set you out from the crowd
Hey there I have just finished this nautilus wingbag. Using new ultraviolet coloured English 2. 00 mm thick leather for the main panels And Italian Ortensia for the sides, the two colours are the perfect contrast. The mandala has 7 layers which is the deepest mandala I have made, You do close a small amount of space in the main pocket due this however I have made the gusset 6.cm so there is plenty of space for you phone wallet /purse and keys etc Internal pocket and matching ultraviolet strap with stainless steel stirrup buckle. 1.00mm thread used throughout, Both inside panels are laser etched which I won't show here it will be for the new owner to find out. This leather is something else it's thick and robust yes very soft to the touch, it will gain a fantastic patina over time. I'm looking forward to using it in upcoming projects. Size is :
Here's a bit if an experiment, I wanted to try a mandala which looked like it had movement, I used distressed softer leather for the waves to give it a flowing feel, my mandalas are usually very ridged but this one moved about. The Mandala is glued and sewnin so unless pulled is going nowhere. The bag itself is my favourite of my designs, the tapering sides look retro yet classy. On the back is a mountain scene this has been a theme on all my mint bags, as I see these as a collection. Italian purple @conceriawalpier and @aacrack leathers through out Stainless steel Stirrup buckle and a mini adjustable strap which is quite rare for a shoulder bag but I thought it would be a useful touch. Size wise 200mm by 210mm As this is an experimentation it will be priced cheaper than my usual bags :)
The awesome mystic energy case. I wanted to try to make a case which felt like it had its own energy, or that it's the case for something truly powerful! I would say it's worked Made From Italian and English Leather Internal pocket And lots of space inside 22.5cm by17 by 9cm Hand made handle, I used antique strap clips on wither side, however happy to remove the strap if you want to use your own or just rely on the top handle. This is one sturdy case most panels have double reenforcement as I wanted to ensure it will hold its shape for the years ahead.
Here's a really cool every day essential case, I'm really enjoying exploring more of mythical / energy influenced designs at the moment, this one is inspired by earth sky and water, which is reflected in the colours and inlays, I wanted to try a bag with a seamless flap and an unusual shape which is totally free style, no patterns here size: 21cm 19cm 6cm I have used Italian badalassi and englash country cow for all panels and an antique ornate buckle. Fully adjustable strap I am now able to take credit cards and pay in four via paypal
Falling leaf every day carry case. I wanted to make a plain case, with a discreet mandala, however the mandala had to be the complete opposite of the bag and be really intricate, I found a beautiful leaf mandala laser file on etsy and converted it to work with leather,. I really loved the motion of the leaf so I made the bag all blue as if the leaf is floating in a dusk sky. I knew such a complex and delicate mandala shouldn't be exposed all the time so I needed to make a cover, plus wanted to add a bit of wow factor when cover is removed . Initially I went with a strap around the body but it didn't look, so I used an array of magnets to ensure the cover sits snugly. The Mandala itself is also very secure using advanced glues and my own sewing ensures it's very robust. Howveer being the work of art which it is should still be treated with care. The size is 25cm 9cm 190cm As this is definately an experimental build, the finish is not as polished as my usual builds so it will be a lot cheaper to reflect this, still a truly amazing everyday carry case.
Good evening after 6 evenings of work it's finally complete Definitely the most detailed cross body bag I have ever made, Using the best leather available from @aacrack With an Italian leather complex tree of life on the front and a bespoke countryside scene on the back. Either side has trees inlayed in Italian leather Internally reinforced this bag will last forever if looked after. Using the same English leather for the strap and a vintage horse stirrup buckle fully adjustable strap 26cm by 28cm with a gusset of 6cm With all the detail and leather used this is not a light bag , it does have some weight to it but if you want the most unique bag in the world never to be repeated, a little additonal weight is a sacrifice im willing to make
This one has taken some time! I wanted to make a refined version of the blue case I made previously. Made from the best leather in the world, badalassi waxed and Walpier green, you really can't get better. I made the case larger so I could make the leaf mandala bigger, I was able to do an extra layer so it's deeper and more intricate than the last leaf. On the back I have used the leaf as a window to a lake at night in the lake district. This was all designed by me using premium leathers for the layers. The hardware is all antique horse tack made from solid brass. Internally there is a large side pocket. Size wise it's 27cm 25cm 9.5cm so quite large. The flap is reenforced with wood internally. The whole case was made freestyle the only pattern I used was for the leaf mandala file which I modified to ensure it works with leather. My work I like to consider art, and to make somethig in my opinion so beautiful there are a couple of caveats. 1 it's heavier than my other cases and bag it's 1.25 kg, the amojtnof leather, brass used means there is no other way and to me.... Its worth the additional weight. 2 the mandala. Its a lot more intricate than my others, so that's why I have included the magnetic cover, it's still leather, stitched and glued in but still be a bit wary around anything which could snag the thinner panels :) Taken care of it will last for ever. Life time repair on this. Credit card payment and pay in four/buy now pay later now available
Here's a bit of an experiment, Never made a tote before so thought I would give one a go I'm really happy how it has turned out. Italian badalassi wax leather And English leather gusset. Wet formed handles 25mm by. 19mmn Large internal pocket Due to its experimental design its cheaper than it would usually be :)
Carrying on with my freestyle design ethos, everything here was made and designed on the fly Using Italian badalassi leathe throughout this is truly a rugged yet beautiful bag, Scottish Mountain scene inspired by my threepeakschallenge a few years ago Internal pocket Vintage real brass buckle and fully adjustable veg tan strap Internally is a small card and key pocket The main compartment gusset is lined with amazing gemotrtic fabric, and a tree of life etching on the pocket. You will never see an everyday carry like this again and made to this standard, This amount of detail is what I love , each bag is totally unique Size is 225mm by 210mm with a gussettt of 60mm
Having sold my last tree of life satchel I knew I wanted another in my Inventory so I made this beauty 310mm by 260.. With a gussett of 60mm Made from very thick English ranch veg tan and Italian green Badalassi, I think the colour choice is perfect for a nature inspired satchel. I used many different leathers for the scene behind the Tree, and the backed with another piece of leather with an etched forest and river scene, which can be seen on the inside. Internal pocket and big enough to hold small essentials. Stainless steel horse saddle buckles through out And a fully adjustable strap. The flap also has an antique nurses buckle for decoration, this is the only part not cover by my repair gurantee, due to the nature of enamel. My bags are wearable art and need to be treated as such. Full care instructions will be given to the buyer.
Ain't this a peach Italian badalassi and @aacrack country cow leathers Stunning 10panel mandala on the front and one of my own lake district scenes on the back Inside is a large pocket There are three country scenes etched inside to go ve it that something extra:) Antique saddlers hardware and a thick 3cm fully adjustable strap Dimentions are 23cm 21cm 9 cm, This is truly a stunning everyday carry case which if looked after will last longer than any of us :) Credit card payment and pay in four/buy now pay later now available

Trying out a different shape, which I think really came out well, I was worried about the flared sides looking cartoonish but no they look perfect in this art deco inspired build, No laser etching or cutting for this bag, just leather and thread. It's got 2 antique horse brass buckles and an internal pocket. Fully adjustable strap. The leather is a real mix ultra violet J woods Vegtan for the main bodies @aacrack country cow gusset and flap then Italian leather for the embellishments. 27cm by 23.5cm by 6 cm A true freestyle bag where no patterns were used I let the leather dictate the process

Please note this case is currently at the Artangle exhibition in London and will be available on its return in November. The exhibition is called Come as you really are. At the Grant Crawley Please only buy if you are happy with the above Probably my most devisive case to date, certainly not your run of the mill everyday carry. A mix of the highest quality Italian and English Leather mixing distressed pull up and flat leathers this certainly is something special. My work I like to consider art, and to make something so intricate means there are a couple of caveats: 1 it's heavier than my other cases at approx 1.2kg, the amount of leather used means there is no other way and to me.... Its worth the additional weight. 2 the mandala. Its a lot more intricate than my others, so that's why I have included the magnetic cover, it's still leather, stitched and glued in but still be a bit wary around anything which could snag the thinner panels :) Taken care of it will last for ever. Stainless steel buckles for the hardware Angle and strap are made from the same leather, and fully adjustable I have started to use pure copper rivets for the straps etc as they provide unmatched carrying ability Howevr the rest is all hand stitched. The Mandala is probably the lost complex one yet, it's huge with so much detail, 7 layers of leather all glued and stitched together. This is complimented with a magnetic cover in the same purple tempesti leather. This being totslly handmade there are some tooling marks and a few scuffs etc as wit all of my bags, so please be aware you are not getting factory perfect, I see this as a plus as you can really see the work which has gone into every part of this build, This case is on the lathe side at 30cm by 30 cm by 10cm Weight is around 1.3kg A truly unique case which will be looked after by Mjh Leathercraft for the rest of its life.
Made from all Italian veg tan badalassi leather, when I made this the purple was easily available, now it's been discontinued, this amazing purple which is unique to the tannery will never be seen again 😭😭😭😭😭 English leather strap and a stainless steel saddle buckle 260mm by 220mm by 60mm Flush cutouts on the back and on the inside pocket The blue accents on the mandala really make this standout. The enchanted. Inspired by mythical Britain, I went for a slightly darker woodland energy than the last build (the Rothesay) made to look like a 300 year old elvern satchel, English and Italian leather throughout This is a large case at 26cm 25 cm 10 cm Internal pocket for you phone, Tons of etching inside which I won't photograph as that's for the buyer to find, There is also a secret mandala hidden which you would need a magnifying glass and torch to find 😅😅 The strap is also now something I'm taking real consideration over, the best real brass fittings and an antique horse shoe buckle, This is one special build.

The Solitude Compact Everyday Carry Case What can I say about this glorious build, probably one of my favourite builds of the year, has a real head runner look to it. I wanted to build a bag which emulated a fantastical window possibly from a ruined cathedral looking out onto the moors. Made with stunning leathers and proper stainless steel hardware, this will be the talking point wherever you go. The tops are removable if needed or desired and the way I built them will last forever if cared for. Dimensions are 24cm / 20 / 9 Each side has real embroidered material inlayed under the gusset, for the sole reason of looking pretty:) On top of the flap is an antique silver filigree brooch repurposed to compliment the overall vibe of the build. This really is a special bag with a huge amount of detail and time gone into its creation.
Following on from the Solitude Compact Everyday Carry I wanted to make a larger version this time to mimic an English Abbey looking out onto the English countryside, reminiscent of the Ashbourne ruins in the Peak District. Made of @aacrack vegtan and Italian walpierleather this is a very sturdy yet usable piece of art. Solid brass for the hardware and two antique adornments, one being a very old button and a vintage Art Nouveau nurses buckle. Stained glass windows on each side and a spacious pocket on the interior. A truly special build Dimensions are 30 20 9.5 Lifetime repair guarantee
The Modernist Micro Satchel This lovely little cube is only 17cm by 17cm by 11, and believe it or not will hold my huge XL phone happily, great for when you don't need a large everyday carry, and will certainly draw attention. Beautiful vegtan traditional leather, and no laser cutting, this was just me, a knife and a couple of circular dies. For the strap and hardware I wanted it to be the opposite to the bag itself, huge and chunky and all solid brass. I love the look, it gives it a real Modernist art inspired look.
